According to the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the top reason companies increased their benefits offerings in 2017 was “to remain competitive in the talent marketplace.” In their report, SHRM goes on to say that, “…organizations need to focus on providing a competitive benefits package to retain and attract top talent.”
HR Executive Jack Kluepfel agrees, “Employees see health and wellness offerings as a mark of progressive employers. Attractive employers, employers of choice, offer opportunities for people to engage in their health.”
