DHS Group gives schools the most simple and affordable way to track and report on student step counts while teaching students how rewarding it is to increase their activity levels and develop healthy habits that last a lifetime. DHS Group has been fortunate enough to work with education programs for Auburn University - School of Kinesiology, Kent State University, Physical Education Program (PEP) Grant programs, and many K-12 school programs.
Our health engagement dashboard collects and tracks key health indicators including weight, blood pressure, BMI, cholesteral, glucose and resting heart rate. The simple to use portal allows students to self-report, organizes information by class for instructors, along with easy integration of different learning components such as video for easy content access.
Our activity dashboard allows students to track and manage their daily steps and activity and automates reporting of information by class for instructors. Reports rank students based on choice metrics (steps, moves or distance) and goals (cumulative or average daily). Reporting is available for download to Excel or CSV formats and API integration into LMS capabilities which makes it easy to assign points and grades for activity and class achievements and goals. Our HealthSpective Engage Move dashboard supports DHS Group's popular (and retired) Movband 2, 3 and the new Movband 4 devices, most third party devices and apps (Garmin, Fitbit, Apple Health, Google Fit and more).
DHS Group's affordable Movband 4 has many new features. The Movband 4 is waterproof (up to 5 meters), has a long 2-week battery life, easy to read display and wirelessly syncs with the HealthSpective App.
Easily and wirelessly sync and track activity on the go with our newly designed free HealthSpective App. It is available for both IOS and Android and can be displayed in English and Spanish.
Education & Youth Success

Auburn University's School of Kinesiology was looking for a wearable fitness technology company to partner with for Active Auburn, a university course designed to allow students to participate on their own schedule and in whatever physical activity they preferred - from running to aerobic classes and everything in between. Active Auburn serves as a means to sustain a course fueled by student interest with the ability to boost university revenue while increasing physical activity and health on campus and in the community. By using our Movband, students are able to record their activities and sync them to the HealthSpective Engage Move platform for physical education class credit.
Kent State University of Ohio was looking for a low-cost way to motivate their employees and students to be healthier and more active. Their belief was that new fitness devices may be an easy way to keep track of an individuals' activity electronically and use the data to make wellness decisions. They recruited nearly 900 KSU faculty and students to participate in a study to try to get people moving more. KSU chose DHS Group's HealthSpective Engage Move platform and Movbands because of their ability to manage multiple users and administer challenges within the Move dashboard.
DHS Group gives schools who have won the Physical Education Program (PEP) Grant the most simple and affordable way to track and report on student step counts while teaching students how rewarding it is to increase their activity levels and develop healthy habits that last a lifetime. DHS Group has worked with over 20 different PEP schools, including Chico Unified School District, Denver Public Schools and Holley Central School District.
DHS Group works with virtual and in-school PE classes, after school running and activity clubs and campus-wide challenges which use the HealthSpective Engage Move activity tracking and data collection platform and Movbands to promote activity and healthy habits to last a lifetime.
