History & Overview
DHS staff have been conducting HEDIS® Compliance™ Audits since 1997. DHS has produced HEDIS production/software for health plans since 2005. DHS produces Medical Cost Reports and Management for multiple Corporate Clients and Health Insurance Brokers to improve quality and reduce medical cost.
Data Validation Experience
DHS staff conduct HEDIS® Compliance Data Validations with 22 Health Plans in 11 states. DHS meets the CMS Standards for Selecting a Data Validation Contractor. – A grid of qualifications will be submitted on request. DHS has 3 staff members who have completed CMS Data Validation Training.
Delivered Services
1. Kickoff Data Validation Teleconference
2. Review of Online Assessment Instrument (OAI) and feedback to health plan
3. Source Code Review of programmatically produced CMS measures.
4. Census File Review
5. Completion of Data Validation Standards on Health Plans HPMS Account.
6. Final Data Validation Report.
7. Miscellaneous Communications and Teleconferences as needed to facilitate the audit process. The auditor is available as needed.
Customer Service
DHS prides itself on the high level of customer service delivered to its clients. We provide Data Validation Standard and Source Code checklists (for programmatic measures) and a Data Validator is made available throughout the year.
DHS is developing Benchmarking Tools to further assist our clients and is able to provide references upon request.
