Movband Sync Requirements
To sync the data from your Movband to your online account, you will need to install our Sync Software on your computer. Please ensure that you meet the software requirements and security specifications below. If you have any questions in regards to running our software on a firewalled network, please contact our Customer Success team for assistance.
PC & MAC REQUIREMENT
Mac Users: Please go to System Preferences and click on Security & Privacy. On this screen, click the unlock button in the lower left corner. Once unlocked, set the radio button to Anywhere. Confirm this setting, and then relock this screen using the same lock button in the lower left corner. (Note: After you successfully install Sync Software, you can come back to this area and change this setting back if desired.)
PC Users: You will need to allow your computer to download an executable file. This may entail modifying the settings of any software that would prevent your computer from doing so, such as a firewall. Once you successfully install Sync Software, you can set your software back to your preferred settings. If you are operating on a firewalled network or computer, please make an exception for this program in the settings portion of the firewall.
Please note that our software is still pending Verisign and other certificates. Due to the newness of our software, it may not be recognized by some anti-virus software. Additionally, some firewalls may not permit the transfer of data. We are working hard to eliminate firewall issues and secure the necessary certificates and antivirus permissions that will give you a smooth and worry-free experience with our software.
